• T&C Cancellation Policy

    We respect your time and appreciate your choice to spend it with Pearl Skin Clinic.  We’ve created our Cancellation Policy to provide the utmost versatility and convenience to our clients. Booking an appointment is your acceptance of our Cancellation Policy; therefore, please be certain you’ve reviewed and agreed to these terms.

    APPOINTMENTS

    Please note that it is your responsibility to remember your appointments and to arrive 5 minutes prior ready for your treatment. Appointments cards can be given at the clinic if requested to remind you of your appointments and please set appointment reminders on your mobile phones. This is a courtesy request to all clients to ensure appointments are not missed and to help with your busy schedule.

    If you are unsure of your appointment, please call us immediately so we can check your appointment for you.

    Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment.

    Please note that if you arrive 15 minutes later or more to your appointment, it will be treated as a no show and you will lose a session..

    FULL BODY laser hair removal appointments must be confirmed 48 in advance. Please make sure you meet all the requirements & ensure that you are eligible for laser hair removal prior to coming in for your appointment. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your appointment and deduction of the service from your pre-paid package.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    We have a 48 hours Cancellation Policy for all appointments that are scheduled for Tuesday through Friday.

    Appointments that are scheduled for Saturday, Sunday & Monday MUST BE CANCELLED BY 1pm on Friday.

    Failure to adhere to this policy will results in the deduction of your session from your pre-paid package.

    Appointments can ONLY be changed, rescheduled or cancelled via phone.

    To change, rescheduled or cancel your appointment please call us directly.

    Messages can be left on the answer phone to cancel your appointment and for the receptionist to give you a call back to reschedule.

    SHAVING: All areas you wish to receive Laser Hair Removal on MUST be shaved before your appointment. The area MUST be free of stubble. We recommend shaving at most 24 hours before your appointment. Please be aware that we reserve the right to refuse to accommodate your scheduled appointment if you are not prepared.

    MEDICATIONS: Please be advised that by taking certain medications, you may not be a qualified candidate for Laser Hair Removal.

    NOTE: It is your responsibility to inform us either in person or via phone, prior to your appointment if you are taking any prescribed medication to confirm if you may be treated for Laser Hair Removal. Failure to do so before booked appointment will be treated like a cancellation without notice and a loss of pre-paid sessions will occur. CALL US to ask  questions about the medication you are taking.

    IMPORTANT: Please try to avoid booking your appointment in conflict with your menstrual cycle if you will be receiving Hollywood, Bikini or Brazilian Laser Hair Removal.

    GENERAL: All areas you wish to receive laser treatment on must be SHAVED and stubble free on the day of your appointment with the exception of Full Back. If you are on any prescribed acne medication, please call to make sure you can still receive laser hair removal.

    On the day of your appointment, please refrain from using any type of body lotions or creams and avoid wearing deodorant if you are getting Underarm Laser Hair Removal.

    TANNING: In the event that you do go on vacation or are exposed to the sun resulting in a tan, you MUST wait at least 2-4 weeks to receive laser hair removal. We cannot do your treatment  if your skin is darker than your natural skin tone as there is a risk of burning of the skin if treated. Even though the laser machine we use is suitable for sun tanned skin too. We will not take any risks and want to ensure all laser treatments are carried out safely.

    Failure to comply to these safety regulations will result in the loss of your session.

    All courses of treatments must be completed within 18 months of the date of purchase.

    COURSES

    Courses are non- refundable, however balances for outstanding treatments can be transferred to alternative aesthetic treatments.

    When courses bought on past offers and become available in future offers on a lower rate then neither the difference nor the course can be refunded.
    Please speak to your Treatment Co-ordinator for details. Please also note we may recommend a change in your treatment programme during your course of treatments to meet your individual needs.​

    REFUND POLICY

    • We offer a full refund policy on any unopened products returned in a saleable condition with an original receipt.
    • Opened products cannot be refunded. However, if a product has caused any adverse reaction, please come back to the clinic with the product so that we can carry out an analysis, and if appropriate we can substitute the product which is causing an adverse reaction.
    • Any adverse reaction must be reported within 48 hours of your appointment.
    • We offer a full refund policy on any treatment courses within 7 days of purchase.
    • We cannot refund any treatment course that has already commenced.
    • If you would like to change your treatment programme, we are happy to transfer any outstanding balance from untaken treatments to other services only.
    • Treatments which have taken place cannot be refunded.
    • No refunds are offered for any treatments that form part of a promotional offer.

    POLICY ON CHILDREN

    We regret that we are unable to allow children to remain unaccompanied in the reception area. Our Front of House staff are neither trained nor insured to look after children, and we respectfully ask our clients to refrain from asking our receptionist to watch their children during treatments.
    For safety reasons, children are not allowed in the treatment rooms at any time.

    COMPLAINTS POLICY

    Complaints should be made by email to the manager of Pearl Skin Clinic on info@ pearlskinbirmingham.co.uk We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.

     

    Failure to comply with pearl skin clinic’s full terms and conditions will result in the terminations of your contract/ treatments without a refund.
